Behavioral Health Emergencies
After normal duty hours, weekends and holidays go immediately to the nearest Emergency Room or call 911 (Kirk U.S. Army Health Clinic does NOT have an Emergency Room).

Behavioral Health Care
BHCS offers a variety of counseling services, crisis intervention and referral assistance to Active Duty Service Members, family members and military retirees. Additionally, crisis intervention and referral services are available to the entire APG Community. Treatment is provided through a multidisciplinary team approach consisting of supervised behavioral health paraprofessionals, clinical social workers, and psychologists. Psychiatric treatment is provided via Video Tele-Conferencing.
Family Advocacy Program
FAP provides services to troops and family members experiencing domestic abuse and child abuse through prevention efforts, early identification and intervention, support for victims and treatment for abusers. FAP provides a wide range of services geared toward the specific needs of the families they work with. FAP staff work with military command, law enforcement personnel, medical staff Army Community Service (ACS) personnel and chaplains as well as civilian agencies to provide troops and families with the services they need to develop healthier relationships within the home.
Substance Abuse Services
Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (formerly ASAP) provides clinical treatment for a variety of substance use disorders. It is geared to the active duty population, however, referral services are available to family members, retirees and the APG community. APG employees may also seek services through the Employee Assistance Program (410) 278-5319.
